LETN1 on MIBR’s elimination from StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026: “We’re not quite ready yet.”
MIBR coach Nestor “LETN1” Tanich summed up the tournament in an interview at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026, discussed the match against FURIA, and spoke about the team’s progress.
On the Nuke match against FURIA
We made a few minor mistakes on Nuke. We lost Round 4, 2-0, I think. On the CT side, we also had one round that went 2-1. Then, on the T side, it was 3-3. And there were some micro-moments—we let a few grenades get past us. Everything went their way. Any of those rounds could just as easily have gone our way. And then we would have made it to the third map. But it is what it is.
On MIBR’s progress
We’re not quite ready yet. But we discuss things a lot every day and work on fixing our issues. So we’re on the right track. We just need to keep up the good work. And I hope that eventually we’ll be finishing higher than just third or fourth place, like we have lately. I hope that in the future we’ll reach some finals and win some trophies.
On the current roster
I feel like these players are the right lineup. So yes, we’ll do our best. And definitely, as I’ve already said, I think we’re moving in the right direction, on the right path. We just need a little more time and we need to fix our issues. And yes, I think all of this is just the experience we’re gaining on our end. Games like this one, and the previous game when we played against Legacy at the tournament in China. It was so close. Yes, these are the kinds of games that, in my opinion, help the team and the players reach a new level. Yes, this is the kind of game we need. And we’re striving to get as many of them as possible, especially before the Major, to get ourselves in top form for it.
Earlier, MIBR lost to FURIA in the lower bracket semifinals at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 with a map score of 1–2. As a result, Nestor “LETN1” Tanich’s team finished the tournament in 4th place and earned $40,000 in prize money.
