Team Vitality rifler William “mezii” Merriman spoke in an interview at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 about his return to the pro scene and the victory over magic, and also reflected on his team’s goals.
On returning to Team Vitality
I think it was really difficult to find time to practice in my situation. Still, I tried to devote a few hours a day to CS. <...> I’m glad to be back at major tournaments. Of course, I’m not in the best individual form right now, but I’m gradually getting back into the competitive groove and regaining my confidence.
On the victory over magic
We managed to play really well in that match, but it’s worth noting that magic was playing with a coach. Overall, we shot great and felt comfortable on the server. I’m pleased with how much we communicated and how confidently we played.
On the team’s goals
You never know what’s going to happen. I think it’ll be great to start winning again, but right now, the main thing for us is to get back to our previous level. If we can do that, we’ll definitely win a few trophies. Right now, our team is working hard on our teamplay.

Yesterday, Team Vitality defeated magic 2–0 in their first match at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026. Today, the “Bees” will face FURIA for a spot in the upper bracket final—this match will take place at 8:30 p.m. Moscow time.
