NAVI has been eliminated from the IEM Cologne Major 2026, while G2 Esports has advanced to the playoffs

G2 Esports defeated Natus Vincere and advanced to the playoffs of the IEM Cologne Major 2026.
The first map, Dust2, ended with a score of 13-11 in favor of the “born to win” team, but G2 Esports closed out Inferno 16-14. The decisive map, Mirage, went to Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač’s team with a score of 13-10.
Thus, G2 Esports became the last team to advance to the decisive stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026, while G2 Esports was eliminated from the tournament.
The IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to 21 in Cologne. Following the three preliminary stages, the eight teams that advanced to the playoffs were determined. The tournament’s prize pool is $1,250,000.
