Both esports players already have competitive experience on the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene. The 21-year-old Russian player Gleb “tried” Kholmogorov previously played for the GUN5 team. Meanwhile, 24-year-old Boris “Ryujin” Kim from Uzbekistan has represented teams such as 1win Team and ARCRED.

Earlier, WW TEAM’s CS2 roster faced a personnel crisis following the conclusion of the WINLINE CIS LAN #7 tournament, where the team lost to Team Nemesis in the quarterfinals with a score of 0–2. Following this, rifler Artem “ct0m” Maximov and Denis “deko” Zhukov left the team, citing internal issues and pressure from the community.
