YEKINDAR on FURIA’s CS2 roster: “We’re Thunderpick champions for the second time in a row!”
FURIA rifler Marek “YEKINDAR” Galinskis commented on his team’s victory at the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 on his personal Telegram channel.
After 5.5 hours and plenty of tissues and various medications, we managed to pull it off. We’re Thunderpick champions for the second time in a row! A huge thank you to everyone for cheering us on. It was incredibly difficult, especially just staying focused—especially on the first three maps. The first map went okay, but then the second and third maps were incredibly difficult to play. It was good that there was a half-hour break between the third and fourth maps, during which we could rest a bit and reset. <...>
FURIA took first place at the Thunderpick World Championship 2026. In the final, the team defeated BetBoom Team 3–2 in a best-of-five series and earned $500,000. Kaike “KSCERATO” Serato was named the tournament’s MVP.
