
Aurora Gaming lost their lower bracket semifinal match at BLAST SLAM VIII against PARIVISION. The match ended with a score of 0-2.
Both maps were marked by PARIVISION’s dominance: On the first map, the gold lead peaked at 42,000—the team’s carry, Alan “Satanic” Galyamov, played as Slark with a KDA of 24/3/9 and was also the clear leader in XPM (1,043). The second map started off more evenly for Aurora Gaming, but the late game also belonged to PARIVISION—at the 40-minute mark, the team destroyed Aurora Gaming’s third base and ended the game.
Aurora Gaming finished in 4th place at the championship and earned $65,000. PARIVISION, meanwhile, advanced to the lower bracket final, where they will face Team Spirit for a spot in the grand final.
Earlier today, October 10, Team Yandex knocked Team Spirit into the lower bracket, defeating their opponent in a sweep and advancing to the BLAST SLAM VIII final.
