Conventus Stellarum was eliminated from PGL Wallachia Season 9, while Team Nemesis advanced to the playoffs

Team Nemesis defeated Conventus Stellarum in the decisive match for a spot in the PGL Wallachia Season 9 playoffs. The match ended with a score of 2-1.

CS opened the series with a win but lost the second map—by the end of the game, Nemesis had built a 29,000-lead. On the third map, Leon “Arthur” Lee’s squad once again played with more confidence and emerged victorious in the series.

Thanks to this victory, Team Nemesis advanced to the playoffs. That stage begins tomorrow. Conventus Stellarum, meanwhile, lost its chance to advance and finished in 9th–11th place, earning $20,000.

PGL Wallachia Season 9 is taking place in Bucharest, Romania, from September 19–27. The organizers are offering a $1,000,000 prize pool, with 30% going to the one of the sixteen teams that finishes in first place at the end of the tournament.
