Natus Vincere and Pipsqueak+4 defeated Aurora Gaming and Yakult Brothers in the group stage at PGL Wallachia Season 9

Natus Vincere proved stronger than Aurora Gaming, while Pipsqueak+4 defeated Yakult Brothers during the group stage of PGL Wallachia Season 9.

NAVI opened the scoring in the series against Aurora. On the second map, Aurora led in kills and structures destroyed, but Aske “Cy-” Larsen’s team secured the first Roshan, and soon began putting pressure on their opponents, leading to victory.

The Chinese team started their match with a win, but the Europeans played more confidently on the second map. In the decisive game, the lead changed hands repeatedly, but in the end, P+4 maintained control of the situation.

The upcoming matches will be decisive for NAVI and YB—the teams will be playing for a spot in the playoffs and elimination, respectively. “Aurora” and P+4 will continue in the 1:1 subgroup.

PGL Wallachia Season 9 is taking place from September 19 to 27 in the Romanian capital. Sixteen teams will share a $1,000,000 prize pool, with the winner taking home $300,000. The playoffs begin on Thursday.
