PGL Wallachia Season 9 Preview: Format, Rosters, and Schedule for Day 1
September 19 marks the start of the first major tournament of the new season—PGL Wallachia Season 9. The tournament format, team rosters, and schedule for the first day of play are detailed below.
Format
All sixteen participants in PGL Wallachia Season 9 are placed in a single group. They will compete in a Swiss system, with matches played in a best-of-three (bo3) format. The top eight teams will advance to the playoffs, while the rest will be eliminated from the tournament.
The playoffs will consist of a single-elimination bracket with best-of-two series. The Grand Final will be a best-of-three series.
