Pipsqueak+4 knocked Team Cobra out of PGL Wallachia Season 9

Team Cobra exited PGL Wallachia Season 9 after losing to Pipsqueak+4. The match ended with a score of 1-2.

Denis “rincyq” Bogushev’s team won the first map 46–16 in 36 minutes. On the second map, Pipsqueak+4 held a gold lead of over 10,000 by the 30th minute but allowed a comeback—the two teams combined for 104 kills. The decisive map went to Andrey “Mag” Chypenko’s squad—44–16 in 36 minutes.

Thanks to the victory, Pipsqueak+4 advanced to the 2:2 bracket, where they will play a decisive match for a spot in the playoffs on September 23. Team Cobra finished the tournament in 12th–14th place, earning $15,000.

PGL Wallachia Season 9 is taking place from September 19 to 27 in Bucharest, Romania. Sixteen teams are competing for a prize pool of $1,000,000, of which $300,000 will go to the winner. BetBoom Team was the champion of the previous tournament in the series.
