Sneyking on adjusting to LGD Gaming: “It turned out to be harder than I imagined.”

I think it turned out to be harder than I imagined. I was very used to my previous teammates: their playstyle, how they think about the game, and how they communicate. But now everything is new. I literally have five new teammates: four players and a new coach.

So at this tournament, we’re largely learning to understand each other: what we should do for one another and how to play by building on each other’s strengths.

I think BuLba and SumaiL were mainly the ones who initiated it. I was thinking about taking a short break, just playing in pubs and waiting for an opportunity to join a good team. Or, if a good option came along right away, joining it.

They were already in talks, had invited Wits and Davai, and then spoke with me. I thought Thiolicor was a pretty good option, too. In the end, we just decided to give it a try. And I was glad that LGD gave us this opportunity.

I think on this team, it’s mostly me, SumaiL, and BuLba. We have the most experience and the most insights about the games, and the rest of the team is quite willing to listen. So far, I think our teamwork is coming together pretty well.

I don’t think we have a fixed base right now. We’ll just play the qualifiers wherever it’s convenient for us. If we’re in Europe, we’ll play the European qualifiers. We should probably also consider South America, since we have two South American players. Maybe we’ll just bring Davai along and play on the South American server.

If we’re in China or Thailand, we’ll play the Chinese qualifiers. I think it really all depends on where we happen to be.
