First up
I’m watching Dota at PARI UNIVERSE by FISSURE, and I can point out a few things:
1. 1w is on the verge of disbanding, and it’s not even about the fact that they’re playing online from home—it’s clear that some of the guys are tilting, and it’s already unpleasant to play together. Considering the amount of resources spent on buying them out, plus all the perks and salaries, they’ll have to figure something out through transfers. And to get the roster back on track, we’ll need to replace at least two players, maybe even three—and right now I’m talking specifically about the “cows.” We’ll see how they manage to get out of this, because I definitely don’t believe that they’ll suddenly start playing well when they show up at the next LAN, but considering that a new patch is coming soon, maybe it’ll save this team.
2. PARIVISION is very mentally unstable; today’s loss to Spirit was very lackluster and also shows that they have some issues. But unlike 1w, they know how to pull themselves together for important tournaments, and PARI UNIVERSE is hardly one of those for them.
1w Team didn’t win a single map at PARI UNIVERSE by FISSURE, while PARIVISION advanced to the playoffs with a 3-1 record. Alan “Satanic” Galliamov stated after the loss to Team Spirit that there was a lot of negativity in the team’s voice chat.
