LGD Gaming carry Hector “Wits” Orosco Alsá shared his impressions of playing with the new roster in an interview at PGL Wallachia Season 9, discussed his chemistry with Tiago “Thiolicor” de Oliveira Cordeira, and wished his South American opponents good luck in the tournament.
I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve been playing all year and just want to compete in every tournament I can.
I’ve never played with anyone on this team before. It’s a new environment. I wake up and see that everyone is working hard, doing their best, and trying to improve both individually and as a team. It’s nice to see that.
[Question: “Who stands out the most?”]
I don’t think there’s anyone who talks a lot—everyone tries to speak up at specific moments during the game. Everyone offers their ideas, but if I had to pick someone, it would probably be Sneyking.
We became closer at the EWC. We weren’t particularly close before, but now he helps me out, and sometimes we discuss the game and the players. He’s a good teammate.
I’m friends with some of them, and I get excited to see them. I managed to meet up with a few of them for breakfast. I’m really interested in watching them play, and I wish them all the best.
So far, LGD Gaming has played two matches in the group stage of PGL Wallachia Season 9 and has not lost a single one. If they win tomorrow’s series, the team will advance to the playoffs with a 3-0 record.
