All Snowy Depths Tombs in Genshin Impact—Where to Find Them and How to Get the Keys
The Snowy Depths tombs in Genshin Impact hide lavish chests containing Origin Stones, Cryo Seals, and other rewards. You’ll need a special key to remove the protective barrier. In this guide, we’ll show you the locations of all the tombs, the routes to them, and how to obtain the keys.
All Snowy Depths Tombs
The first tomb can be opened without completing any quests. It’s located near the teleportation point west of Lightice Village.
The second is in the icy zone in the northeast of the map; it can also be found without completing a quest—you just need to go through the tunnel, start it, reach the treasure chamber, and return.
The third tomb is in the village of Okurovo, which players reach while completing the quest “Transplanted from Yesterday to Tomorrow” from the side quest chain “In the Abode of Life.”
The fourth treasure vault is located in the House of the Hesperides; you can reach it by completing the quest “Hesperides of Love and Hate.”
As of Patch 7.1, only four treasure vaults have been released. The developers will add all the remaining ones in future updates.
How to Obtain Keys to the Snowbound Tombs
There are two main ways to obtain keys to Snow’s Depths Tombs:
- Leveling the Cryo Archon Statue: You can obtain a total of 5 keys by leveling up the Archon Statue with Cryo Orbs.
- Reputation and Meeting Points: Another 5 keys are awarded for reputation progress in Snowland and for developing local meeting points (for example, for levels in “Cave of the Tide”).
A total of 10 keys (and, accordingly, 10 tombs) are planned for Snowfall, some of which will become available as new updates are released.
