On the night of October 17, Valve added a new character to Deadlock—Violetta, one of the six heroes announced in the “Sleepless City” update. Find all the information about her in Russian in our article.
Violet moved to the Cursed Apple at age 12. Despite experiencing some culture shock from life in New York City, she quickly fell in love with the city’s vibrant and exciting lifestyle. Devoting herself to the arts, Violet achieved far greater success than most of her peers thanks to her talent.
First, she received a full scholarship to art school.
Then, in her junior year, her work was included in the prestigious student art exhibition “Rising Stars Gallery,” organized by the Museum of Modern Art.
By any measure, Violetta has achieved incredible success for her age. However, she has never been able to shake the existential fear of dying a failure. She understands that an artist’s commercial success isn’t a matter of whether their work is good enough. Nor is it a matter of how outstanding they are. The main thing is for the right person to see them at the right time. That is precisely why Violetta set her sights on the Ritual… Not to embellish her own talent, but simply for the chance to show the world what she is capable of.
The hero’s weapon is “Creative Solution.” It takes the form of a brush and allows for long-range shooting. It deals 30 damage per bullet with a rate of fire of 1.54 shots per second. The magazine holds 15 rounds, and reload time is 2.7 seconds.
Buff (1): Your next 3 bullets come to life, allowing you to control their trajectory in flight. They deal increased bullet damage and additional spiritual damage to a small area. Each successful hit on a hero reduces the cooldown of all abilities and cuts the cooldown of all items in half.
Draw (Aim / Alternate Fire): Instead, draw a solid strip of ink that blocks the passage of projectiles and characters. The streak can be destroyed with a heavy attack, but it will deal spiritual damage to the attacker.
Base stats: radius—2.5 meters, duration—10 seconds, cooldown—22, charge cooldown—7, number of charges—2.
Upgrades:
Swipe with your brush, which continues moving forward, leaving a trail that increases allies’ glide range and slows enemies with a gradually diminishing effect, while also dealing spirit damage to them. Damage increases as the brush moves forward. Reactivate the ability to jerk the brush sharply and end its effect early, dealing spirit damage to a larger area.
Base stats: radius—15 meters, range—25 meters, cooldown—23 seconds.
Upgrades:
Select a hero as your model and deal periodic spiritual damage to them while they are in your line of sight. If the sketch is completed, the target will take additional spiritual damage, be stunned, and leave behind a drawing that can be picked up. For each sketch you collect, you permanently gain stats based on the corresponding hero.
Base stats: duration—2.5 seconds, range—25 meters, cooldown—35 seconds.
Upgrades:
Creates a circular area of ink that blocks vision and increases allies’ Spirit.
Enemies inside the area become visible. When they leave the area, they take Spirit damage, are silenced, and slowed, after which the ink disappears.
Base stats: duration—6 seconds, radius—18 meters, cooldown—165 seconds.
Upgrades:
The next hero will be added at midnight from Tuesday to Wednesday Moscow time. Deadly Danny has already been added to the game—his base health is 680, he deals 60 damage per second with his shots, and his ultimate ability allows him to grab an enemy and slam them into the ground.
