Marvel Rivals Update from October 29, 2026: Halloween event, new sets, and bug fixes
On October 29, Marvel Rivals received a minor update. The developers added the Halloween event “Night of Illusions,” introduced new bundles to the store, and fixed bugs. Check out our article for the full list of changes in Russian.

Night of Illusions Event
A mysterious man, possessed by an unknown witch, mistook the number “4” depicted on her for her name. To complete the summoning ritual, he attempts to sacrifice four “monsters.” A small creature, an ancient monster, and an old friend fall victim to the ritual one after another. Elsa Bloodstone, following her instincts as a monster hunter, enters this strange house and begins to uncover the terrifying truth.
- Explore five mysterious rooms and solve puzzles.
- Limited-time rewards include rare gallery cards, Units currency, graffiti, and other items.
- The event will run until December 31, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Moscow Time.
Fixes and Optimizations
Heroes
- Gorr: Fixed a bug that caused the hero to occasionally fly off the map when using “Harvest of Shadows” immediately after summoning the Black Berserker.
- Rogue: Fixed an issue with the “X-Men ’97, Season 2” skin where her left arm would pass through her cloak when moving backward.
- Black Cat: Fixed an issue where the icon above her head would disappear while wearing the “Fatal Weaver” skin when using the Binding Ties co-op ability with Spider-Man.
- Black Cat: Fixed a bug that allowed the second phase of her ultimate ability to be activated with the Q key, even if the ability was bound to a different key.
- Invisible Woman: Fixed a bug where using other abilities did not always remove the invisibility granted by “Invisible Steps.”
Maps
- Times Square: Fixed a bug where players who started a match from Times Square and selected “One More Round” on the results screen could not return to Times Square after the next match ended.
Other Fixes
- Store: Fixed a bug where, after completing all Pop & Win challenges, the additional navigation panel would shift to the left and extend beyond the screen if there was no subtitle under the store’s name.
- Moon Knight: Fixed a bug in Blood Hunt mode where the hero sometimes couldn’t place an ankh when using an ankh-based build without selected Traits.
Earlier, the “Road to Judgment Day—Avengers: Endgame” event launched in Marvel Rivals, and themed activities appeared in Times Square. Until November 26, players can claim a free Captain America costume from the movie *Captain America: The First Avenger* and other rewards.
