The developers of Rocket League have announced a collaboration with the anime One Piece. The themed event will run from November 1 through November 23. Players will be able to complete challenges and earn items inspired by the Straw Hat Pirates.
A hat-trick in an online match will earn you a car roof decoration featuring Luffy’s straw hat, for assists and clearances—the Straw Hat Crew boost, styled after the crew’s wanted posters—and for accumulating points in online matches—the Going Merry Sea trail, dedicated to the heroes’ ship.
Other rewards for completing challenges include a One Piece antenna and two player banners. Additionally, players can earn up to five treasure chests for participating in online matches.
Starting November 1, decals featuring Luffy and the Going Merry for the Octane and Fennec vehicles, as well as the High Tides wheels and goal explosion, will be available in the store. The Mercedes-AMG G 63 with One Piece decals will go on sale November 7.
A collaboration with One Piece will also take place in Fortnite: the “Treasure Hunters” season will begin there on November 1. Locations and abilities from the anime, as well as character skins, will be added to the game.
