All New MLBB Skins in August: Free Skins and How to Get Them

With the end of the first half of the esports season, the developers of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang are returning with a series of major events and various activities, during which players will be able to earn several new cosmetic skins for their favorite heroes.

This month will treat players to two major events at once: in the first ten days of August, the collaboration with “Magic Battle” will return to MLBB, and two weeks later, a new phase of the “Exorcists” event will begin.
There will be plenty of freebies, too—you can earn free skins (including two new ones) through the “Ranked Race” event, as well as in the new version of Aurora’s Summoning and a special event celebrating Team Spirit’s victory at the 2026 Mid-Season Cup.

Star Player for August 2026: New Skin for Aulus
This month, you can get the “Star Corsair” skin for Aulus in the Battle Pass. As usual, the skin is awarded for purchasing the paid version; the price remains the same—300 diamonds.
By leveling up their Star Player status, players can also upgrade the skin and unlock themed items:
- Level 30 — “Burning Determination” (statue for the base);
- Level 40 — “Stellar Filibuster” paint job;
- Level 60 — “Stellar Corsair” trail effect
Another skin option (“Stellar Ravager”) can be purchased at any time for 100 diamonds.

MLBB Giveaways in August 2026
All three permanent banners in the gacha section will also be updated throughout the month. On August 1, a new skin for Balmond called “Volcano Lionheart” appeared in the Exquisite Collection.
Starting August 23, a new Zodiac Series gacha will also be available in MLBB: Odette “Virgo.” It will be available until September 22.
Each attempt in the Exquisite Collection and the Zodiac Summon costs 50 diamonds. You can claim free rewards once a day, including keys for the gacha.
In addition, on July 14, the developers plan to update the Aurora Summon mode. The new banner will be called Star Mode; the “Dragon Tamers” skins will be available in the first rotation, and crystals can also be exchanged for a skin. Further details will be announced later.

MLBB x Jujutsu Kaisen 2026 Collaboration
From August 7 to September 11, Mobile Legends will once again feature a crossover with the popular anime franchise *Jujutsu Kaisen*. Players will be able to obtain enhanced versions of four characters from the series as MLBB heroes—complete with new animations and sound effects.
- Yuji Itadori — Yin;
- Megumi Fushiguro — Julian;
- Nobara Kugisaki — Melissa;
- Satoru Gojo — Xavier.
All skins will be available through the standard event gacha system using diamonds, though players will likely receive a few free attempts for completing in-game activities.
Exorcists 2026 Event in MLBB
Later this month, a themed skin series dedicated to the story of protecting the world from evil spirits will also return to the game. Look forward to the arrival of four exorcists: Kagura, Chong, Hayabusa, and Granger.
Details about the event are not yet known. The Exorcists 2026 event in Mobile Legends will run from August 28 to September 27 and will most likely take the form of a diamond-based lottery without any additional in-game activities.
“Rank Race” Event
In addition, another limited-time event launched in MLBB on July 31, where players can earn three free skins and other rewards at once.
By completing daily tasks through September 3, players will earn premium coins. You’ll need to collect a total of 450 coins, after which you can exchange them for one of five sets from the Golden Month series:
- Hanabi “Neon Style”;
- Hanabi “Double Crescent”;
- Beleric “Terror of the Depths”;
- Valir “Shikigami Summoner”;
- Hilda “Madness of Sound.”

Starting August 7, another section will be added where you can earn a new Glu skin by completing the same tasks. The quests themselves will be no different (logging into the game, playing matches), but you’ll need to collect a separate currency for them—and it’s this currency that can be exchanged for the second skin.
Finally, on August 14, another similar mini-event will launch in MLBB, with the main reward being a new skin for Kadita: “Hymn of the Tides.” Like the others, this skin can be claimed until September 3.

Free MLBB Skins in August
In addition to the three skins from the “Ranked Race” event, players can earn several other rewards this month that don’t require spending diamonds or making any other monetary investments:
- Through August 3, players could complete the “Shining Album” event and unlock Joy’s “Wasteland Warrior” skin;
- From August 3 to 7, players from Russia and EECA countries can claim a free skin for Glu to celebrate Team Spirit’s victory at the 2026 Mid-Season Cup;
- From August 1 through September 3, a login event is available in the “Events” section—log in to the game for 17 days to receive a random free skin;
- From August 14 to 27, the “Flash Sale” event will take place, featuring a skin for Wanwan—details are not yet known.
The developers haven’t released an official skin teaser this month, so if other cosmetic sets appear in the game, we’ll update this article accordingly.
