alekk: “In my opinion, Virtus.pro plays with more discipline than the teams in the MPL Indonesia league.”

Alter Ego roamer Alexander “alekk” Bukhe, in an interview with the Russian-language broadcast team covering AFK Masters Cup Season 1, talked about how long it took the team to travel to Russia and discussed Virtus.pro’s gameplay and reflected on the reasons for the roster’s loss on the second map of their match against the “Bears.”
On arriving at the tournament
We flew to Russia for about sixteen hours. Six hours from Indonesia to China, and ten hours from China to here. We arrived a day before the competition started, around 4 p.m., but we still managed to get some rest before the matches began.
On the team’s condition during the matches
Our team positions itself as a professional one, so we give it our all every time and in every game. Even though we were a bit tired from the long flight, we tried to play our best in this match.
On the loss on the second map in the match against Virtus.pro
Our team didn’t expect to face a challenge from Matilda, because everything went smoothly for us on the first map against Virtus.pro. On the second map, we let our guard down and paid the price.
Besides Matilda, Hanabi also caused us problems. These heroes are strong as a duo because of their shields. We didn’t expect VP to pick Hanabi. These heroes were definitely the MVPs on the second map.
About Virtus.pro
I compare Virtus.pro to teams from Indonesia and believe that the team plays at an 8.5 out of 10, while my roster plays at a 9. In my opinion, Virtus.pro plays with more discipline than the teams in the MPL Indonesia league.
Alter Ego defeated Virtus.pro 2-1 in the upper bracket semifinals of the AFK Masters Cup Season 1 playoffs. Alekk’s team will next face Verso Time; the winner of this match will advance to the championship grand final.
