RAKUZAN’s jungler Kamil “Mashiro” Gavadov spoke in a post-match interview during the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 about the victory over Omnix, discussed the choice of opponent in the playoffs, and shared his thoughts on the map changes.
We prepare for everyone the same way. Before matches, we watch how they play, analyze their drafts—we check everything. So the game should be the same, accordingly. We certainly gave it our all, but I guess that’s just how it is.
Maybe they’ve improved. I don’t know—I’m not on that team. But as for whether they’ve changed their playstyle in any way—I don’t know. They lost the early game. Because we were dominating, they started to make a comeback. As I understand it, that’s how it went the whole game.
We’ll probably discuss it with the team; it’s not up to me to decide. If it were up to me, I’d probably choose either Omnix or Rune Eaters.
“Golden Tower” [Referring to the “Golden Tower” modifier. — Ed.] seems a bit too unbalanced. We played some ranked matches today before the tournament: by the seventh minute, we had 20,000 gold. I think that’s the most useful one. <…>
My top two are “Turtle,” while I apparently didn’t even notice “Butterflies” and “Clouds.” They probably weren’t that useful.
It’ll probably be like with the Lords, but everything will just happen a little earlier. So, what you need to do before the Lord will likely be done before the Turtles. Drafts will definitely change, I think. We’ll see.
RAKUZAN defeated Omnix 2-0 on Day 13 of the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 regular season. Heading into the final day of the group stage, Mashiro’s team is tied for third place with Aurevia Team—both teams have 22 points.
