MOONTON Games has updated the invitation system for the MLBB Mid Season Cup
MOONTON Games has announced changes to the invitation allocation system for the MLBB Mid Season Cup tournaments.
According to the developers’ announcement, the reigning MSC champion will now receive an automatic invitation to the main stage of the next event in the series, while the runner-up will receive an invitation to the Wildcard stage. If these teams qualify for the tournament on their own, their invitations will be passed on to teams that finished lower in their respective regional leagues.
As a result, Team Spirit and Yangon Galacticos became the first teams to receive invitations to the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2027. The EECA and Myanmar regions will each gain one additional slot in the championship thanks to the successful performances of their top teams this year.
The MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 took place from July 1 to August 1 in Paris, France. Twenty-five teams participated in the LAN tournament, and Team Spirit emerged as the champion after defeating Yangon Galacticos 4–3 in the final.
