Registration for the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 qualifiers has begun
The organizers of the MLBB Continental Championships announced on their Telegram channel that registration for the qualifiers for the eighth tournament in the series has begun.
Those wishing to participate in the competition can sign up for two open qualifiers. Registration for the first qualifiers will remain open until July 8, and for the second until July 9. Based on the results of the first half of the event, two teams will advance to the closed qualifiers, while four rosters will advance from the second half. The organizers also clarified that matches up to the quarterfinals will be played in a best-of-1 format, and thereafter in a best-of-3 format.
The closed qualifiers will begin on August 17 and will be held using the Swiss system. The event will feature two invited teams and six qualifiers, of which two teams will advance to the MCC Season 8 regular season.
The exact dates for the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 are currently unknown. A total of eight teams will compete in the tournament, with a prize pool of $40,000. The teams that finish in 1st and 2nd place at the championship will receive a slot in the main stage and a wild card for the M8 World Championship, respectively.
