The groups for the 2026 Asian Games qualifiers have been announced

The organizers of the 2026 Asian Games announced on their official X account that the group stage for the competition’s qualifiers has been finalized.
There will be a total of four groups in the qualifiers: Group A, Group B, Group C, and Group D. The groups were divided based on geography—countries from Southeast Asia will play against each other, as will those from Central and West Asia. Teams from South and East Asia, in turn, were combined into a single group.
Distribution of participants in the 2026 Asian Games qualifiers
- Group A: Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines;
- Group B: Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman, United Arab Emirates;
- Group C: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan;
- Group D: Nepal, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Pakistan.
Earlier, the SIBOL tournament was held in the Philippines, the results of which will determine the team to compete in the 2026 Asian Games. Team Liquid PH won the competition, resulting in the team’s head coach, Allek “SN4P” Alvarado Alberto, taking the helm of the national roster.
