HOTU players commented on the Counter-Strike 2 update, in which Valve revamped the map selection system in Premier, added Rush mode, and made a number of changes to the gameplay. Their comments were published on the club’s official Telegram channel.

David “n0rb3r7” Danielyan gave the update a negative review, stating that he can no longer customize his crosshair:
So I logged into our favorite game and can’t adjust my crosshairs. What are the developers doing? They wake up and think, “Hey, let’s remove the commands for adjusting crosshairs and add an egg to the game.” Anyway, I didn’t like the update. Nothing interesting except for the clan tags.
For his part, Aidos “kade0” Khaizhan noted that the new mode looks interesting:
Overall, the update is interesting: clan tags are finally in the game, new crosshairs, new mechanics, and, of course, EGGS. I played one match in the new 3v3 mode—it seemed fun. It even has its own new map. As for the pets, I hope they won’t be running around during the skater run.
Dmitry “mizu” Kondratyev was happy about the return of clan tags:
I haven’t had a chance to fully check out the update yet, but I didn’t like what I saw so far. The only good thing is that they brought back clan tags. That’s definitely great.
