Pimp assessed the potential of the Aurora Gaming roster in CS2
Analyst Jakob “Pimp” Winneke posted on his personal X page, where he reflected on the prospects for Aurora Gaming’s Counter-Strike 2 roster.
By 2027, everyone will have to reckon with Aurora.
This team may start showing solid results even sooner, but I don’t consider the current roster to be final.
Keep an eye on Aurora—it’s a truly serious project.
Yesterday, Aurora Gaming lost to Team Vitality in the grand final of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 with a score of 1–3. The team finished the tournament in second place and earned $130,000. The team’s next event will be ESL Pro League Season 24, which will take place October 3–11 in Poland.
