Aurora Gaming defeated Team Cobra, and GamerLegion beat Pipsqueak+4 at PGL Wallachia Season 9

Aurora Gaming and GamerLegion proved stronger than Team Cobra and Pipsqueak+4, respectively, in the group stage of PGL Wallachia Season 9.

Aurora confidently dominated Team Cobra: the first map ended with a score of 45–12, and the second with 50–17. Oliver “skiter” Lepko played Lone Druid in both games.

Pipsqueak+4 took the first map 38–22 in 39 minutes, but Danil “Bignum” Shekhovtsov’s team proved stronger in the second. GamerLegion won the decisive map with a mid-lane Outworld Destroyer.

Following these victories, Aurora Gaming and GamerLegion improved their match records to 2–1, while Team Cobra and Pipsqueak+4 were eliminated with 1–2 records.

PGL Wallachia Season 9 is taking place from September 19 to 27 in Bucharest, Romania. Sixteen teams are competing for a prize pool of $1,000,000, of which $300,000 will go to the winner. The previous tournament in the series ended with a victory for BetBoom Team.
