RCY on his performance at The International 2026: “Looking back, I’d say I played poorly.”
GamerLegion midlaner Francis “RCY” Fundemera spoke in an interview at PGL Wallachia Season 9 about his break following The International 2026 and his performance at the tournament.
On the short break after The International 2026
To be honest, I think other people wanted a longer break after TI because there are so many tournaments going on right now. There was a lot of discussion about whether we should play or not. In the end, we just decided to play.
[What did you want?]
I would have preferred to take a little break, because playing in North America with a schedule like that would have been a bit strange.
On how I spent my break
I took about a week off to recharge, and then I just tried to get back into the game before the start of the new season.
On the results at The International 2026
I definitely played at my best, but looking back, I’d say I played poorly.
On playing with Timado
I’d say it’s just the fresh feeling of playing with new teammates. There’s not much else to say.
On ATF joining Team Yandex
It might be a good matchup. I’m thinking of Team Falcons because they actually had a duo with Malr1ne there. So, maybe it’ll be good or bad, but it’ll definitely be unusual for them.
