Furiosa in Genshin Impact: Where to Find Her, How to Defeat Her, and How to Get All Medals

Genshin Impact

Furiosa is a local legend of Snowfall with the title “The Guardian Who Lost What She Guarded.” This enemy fires a bow, moves underground, and summons Barriers of Roots. To earn all the rewards, you must not only defeat her but also interrupt two special attacks. Here’s how to do it.

Where to Find Furiosa

Furiosa is located in an open area near the “Scars of Obsession” dungeon, south of Snowtown’s Central Station. Head to the dungeon and walk a short distance northwest, past the train wreckage. To start the battle, simply approach the enemy.

After the first encounter, you can track her via the “Chronicles of Valor” at Katerina’s. The trial objectives are also displayed there.

Who to Bring on Your Team Against Furiosa

Furiosa has reduced Pyro resistance and increased Cryo, Geo, and Dendro resistance. Therefore, it’s best to use a Pyro damage dealer. Fast area-of-effect elemental attacks will be useful for destroying the roots, and a tank or healer will help you survive.

Example teams:

  • Mawuika, Sitlali, Bennett, Shilonen — Mawuika quickly reaches the roots and destroys them with attacks on her bike.
  • Arlequino, Ye Lan, Kazuha, Zhong Li — Pyro damage via Vapor, buffs, and a sturdy shield.
  • Sandrone, Yae Miko, Odette, Qi Qi — A build using the Star Superconductor with healing.
  • Flins, Colombina, Ineffa, Sucrose — Frequent area-of-effect attacks help hit the roots.

How to defeat Furiosa and earn all medals

In “Chronicles of Valor,” you must fulfill three conditions:

  1. Defeat Furiosa.
  2. Interrupt “Heavenly Rain of Arrows” by destroying the Barrier Roots.
  3. Stop her underground movement by destroying the root that appears.

You only need to interrupt each special attack once, after which you can finish off your opponent. All three objectives can be completed in a single battle.

Interrupt “Heavenly Rain of Arrows”

While she’s preparing her attack, two Barrier Roots will appear on the battlefield. You have about 10 seconds to destroy them. Switch your target from Furiosa to the plants and break both with elemental strikes.

It’s easier to use area-of-effect attacks: the Catalysts’ normal attacks will automatically target the enemy. After successfully interrupting the attack, Furiosa will be briefly immobilized—use this moment to deal damage.

Interrupt her underground movement

When Furiosa hides underground, a single root appears on the surface. You must destroy it before she reaches the plant. You have about two seconds to react.

Try to stay closer to the center of the arena and keep a ready ability with a fast cast time. As soon as you spot the root, attack it immediately. If you don’t make it in time, wait for the next opportunity to use the ability without finishing off Furiosa.

How to Replay the Battle Against Furiosa

After defeating her, Furiosa reappears when the server resets daily. If the battle is still ongoing but you’ve failed, you can move far away from the arena or teleport. Your opponent will regain health, and you’ll be able to restart the battle without having to wait until the next day.

Rewards for Furiosa

For completing all three objectives, you can receive:

  • 60 Source Stones;
  • 25,000 Mora;
  • 3 Siege Grows;
  • 3 “Glory” Clues.

Each objective is worth 20 Source Stones. Claim your rewards through the “Chronicles of Valor” from Katerina.
