Why these heroes are ranked in these tiers
The ranking is based on win rate: the higher the win rate, the higher the hero is ranked.
- S-tier — the best heroes for any match;
- A-tier — excellent heroes who perform well on specific maps;
- B-tier — good heroes with a positive win rate who perform well on certain maps and in certain situations;
- C-tier — average heroes you can pick if you’re familiar with them;
- D-tier — weak heroes that you shouldn’t pick unless you know how to play them;
- F-tier — the weakest heroes, which you shouldn’t pick until they’re buffed.
Compare heroes within the same role and take into account the map, your allies, and your opponents. Even a mid-tier hero can turn out to be a good choice for a specific match. Similarly, a top-tier hero might perform poorly against counterpicks.
S-tier — the highest win rate
Heroes in this tier have a win rate ranging from 53.3% to 55.7%. Torbjörn leads the pack at 55.7%, followed by D.Mon at 54.9% and Symmetra at 54%. Zenyaatta wins 53.6% of matches, and the Vulture Queen wins 53.3%.
Tier A — Win Rates Above 50%
In this group, the win rate ranges from 51.6% to 52.9%. Reinhardt and Vendetta lead the tier with an identical win rate of 52.9%. Reactive Kitty rounds out the tier at 51.6%.
Tier B — About half of matches end in victory
The win rate for B-tier heroes ranges from 50 to 51.3%. Lucio and Mizuki both have a 51.3% win rate, while Hanzo has exactly 50%.
C-Tier — Win rate slightly below 50%
Characters with a win rate ranging from 48.6% to 49.9% are in Tier C. Moira nearly reaches the 50% mark, while Freya rounds out the group at 48.6%.
Tier D—significantly behind the middle of the list
The win rate here ranges from 47.2% to 48.5%. Maugi has the best win rate in the group at 48.5%, while Kiriko has the lowest at 47.2%.
F-tier — the lowest results in the sample
Turboswin, Orisa, Sojourn, and D.Va show win rates ranging from 45.6% to 45.9%. This doesn’t mean they’re bad—rather, you should only pick them when you consider them a good counter-pick or when you’re switching to these characters.
