Roblox’s 20th Anniversary: How to Complete the Anniversary Event and Earn Rewards

To celebrate Roblox’s 20th anniversary, an anniversary event is taking place featuring challenges in games from different years. Participants journey through Roblox’s history, complete challenges, and unlock avatar items. In this article, we’ll explain how the event works, what to do in each game, and how to claim your rewards.

The event runs from September 17 to 28, 2026. Be sure to participate and claim all the rewards you want before the event ends.

Start at the event’s central hub. There, you’ll find portals to games representing different years in Roblox’s history. You must complete the stages in order: finish the current year’s challenge to unlock the next one. Along the way, you can earn rewards for your avatar.

After completing a challenge, wait for the notification that you’ve earned a badge. Then return to the hub, check your progress, and claim the available reward for that stage. 

The main part of the event features 20 games. The “Year” in the table refers to the stage of the anniversary route, not necessarily the release date of a specific game. We’ve kept the titles as they appear in the catalog to make them easier to find.

Head to the pizza kitchen and start the anniversary quest chain. As part of the story, you’ll have to deal with a fire and a secret recipe, and then use the time machine.

In the old version of the restaurant, prepare and deliver three pizzas: cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. Check the addresses in the mailboxes. After delivery, return to the manager’s office and use the time machine again to complete the mission.

You can’t just find an animal. Pick it up, survive the disaster without letting go, and return it to its pen after the round. Repeat this with three animals.

While you’re carrying an animal, the main thing is to survive. Choose shelter based on the current disaster and don’t take risks just to explore the map.

You need to fulfill six conditions here. While searching for a backpack and weapons, try to move across the map and eliminate zombies at the same time: this way, you’ll complete several objectives in a single run.

Distance is measured in “studs”—the game’s unit of length—not meters. You’ll have to wait for dawn or dusk to arrive according to in-game time.

First, talk to the administrator, then go to the library and get a book from the librarian. Continue the quest chain until you receive a metal detector.

Use it to find three relics and bring them to Chuck. Talking to the first character once isn’t enough to complete this stage.

Talk to Sam on Tree Island and head to Owl Island to collect plants. You need to gather 50 plants for this quest.

Carrying the harvest slows your character down. You can turn in the plants in small batches so you don’t have to move around with a full load.

There are 20 avatar items available for the main stages. These include headwear, backpacks, and other decorations related to the games on the anniversary route. For example, for the Crossroads stage, you can earn a tower-shaped accessory, and for Rocket Arena—a jetpack.

Rewards are unlocked as you progress. You don’t have to complete all 20 games right away: return to the hub and claim your items after completing each stage.

The badge you receive and the avatar item are not the same thing. The badge confirms that you’ve completed the challenge, while the item itself can be found in the event rewards and your inventory.

After completing the main chain, the additional stage “Year of Infinity” becomes available. It features another 20 games dedicated to the year 2026 and the platform’s future.

Subscribers get early access to the hub and the chance to earn three exclusive items. The classic app theme is available to everyone during the event. After the event ends, users with an active subscription can keep it, along with the classic avatar background and profile frame.
