System requirements for Hearthstone on PC, Android, and iPhone

Hearthstone is a lightweight card game available on Windows, macOS, Android, and iPhone. Despite its simple graphics, it often lags, and buying a new device won’t solve the problem. However, you can reduce lag by knowing the current system requirements for all platforms and ensuring your device meets the recommended specifications.
Hearthstone System Requirements for PC
Hearthstone doesn’t require a powerful computer and runs even on relatively old devices.
| Minimum | Recommended | |
| OS | Windows 10 (64-bit) | Windows 11 (64-bit) |
| Processor | Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 X2 | Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 |
| Graphics Card | NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT or ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7850 |
| RAM | 3 GB | 4 GB |
Hearthstone System Requirements for Android
To run the game, you'll need a smartphone or tablet with a recent version of Android.
Minimum:
- OS: Android 9.0 or newer;
- RAM: 2 GB;
- Free storage: approximately 10 GB.
Recommended:
- OS: Android 9.0 or later;
- Processor: 1.5 GHz or newer;
- RAM: 4 GB;
- Free storage space: about 10 GB.
Hearthstone System Requirements for iPhone/iPad
Blizzard does not publish a specific list of recommended device models—only the recommended RAM and free storage space.
- OS: iOS 15.0 or newer;
- Free storage space: about 10 GB.
All Apple phones and tablets, starting with the iPhone 6s released 10 years ago, meet these requirements.
How much space does Hearthstone take up?
The size of Hearthstone depends on the platform. On PC, installation requires about 3 GB of free storage space, but on mobile devices, the game takes up significantly more. On Android and iPhone, about 11 GB of free storage is recommended, since additional resources, updates, and game modes are downloaded in addition to the game itself. After major expansions are released, the client size may temporarily increase, so it’s best to leave some free space for installing new patches.
