The Train in Snowfall in Genshin Impact: How to Summon It and How to Use It

The train is one of the main modes of transportation in Snowfall in Genshin Impact. The railway network connects remote parts of the region and allows you to travel more quickly between snow-covered areas. However, the train serves more than just as transportation: additional features and activities are available inside, so it gradually becomes the Traveler’s mobile base. In this guide, we’ll explain how to obtain and summon the train in Genshin Impact, how to use it, and what features are available inside the train cars.

You can obtain the train by completing Archon Quests in Snowfall. After your first arrival in Snowfall City, you’ll be able to use the train without restrictions.

The train in Snowbound serves as an alternative to regular teleportation points and walking. You can use it to travel between the main locations in the Cryo region, and the central car offers additional features:

The train runs between the main stations in Snowy, but you can also choose your own route. To do this, use the map inside your personal locomotive. 

Thus, the train is useful not only for quickly traveling around the region but also for accessing several helpful game mechanics.

To summon the train, approach the tracks anywhere. Go to the Tools section in your inventory and equip the Eye of Grai.

Then press Z, select the Eye of Grai, and open the menu. An option to summon the train will appear in the lower-left corner.

You can also go to any station and interact with the signal post. However, you cannot control the train; the engineer will drive it to the desired station on his own.
