Valorant Map Pool 2026: Which maps are currently in ranked play?

Gleb Brekhov
VALORANT

The Valorant map pool is the list of maps available in ranked mode during the current act. Riot Games regularly updates the rotation, adding new maps and removing old ones to diversify gameplay and maintain balance. In this article, we’ve compiled the current Valorant map pool for July 2026, detailing which maps are currently available in ranked mode and how often the rotation changes.

Valorant’s Current Map Pool for July 2026

We’ve already covered each map in detail in a separate article. As of July 2026, the Valorant map pool includes the following maps:

  • Ascent
  • Breeze
  • Haven
  • Lotus
  • Split
  • Summit
  • Sunset

How Riot Games Changes Valorant’s Map Pool

Ranked mode always features seven maps. With the release of a new act, Riot Games typically brings one map back into rotation and removes another. This approach helps refresh the meta without overwhelming players with too many maps. In July 2026, Ascent returned to Ranked, while Bind was removed from the active map pool.

Why Maps Are Removed from Ranked

Removing a map from ranked play does not mean it has been removed from the game. These maps remain available in normal modes, Swiftplay, Deathmatch, and custom games. Riot uses a rotation system so that players have time to learn new maps and developers can refine older ones.
