Respawn Entertainment has announced a collaboration between Apex Legends and the fighting game Street Fighter 6. The event will run from September 22 to October 13, 2026.
In “Joker” mode, players will be able to use the fighting styles of Ryu, Chun-Li, Akuma, and Dhalsim, including performing Hadokens and Shoryukens. Battles will take place on a revamped Olympus with themed decorations and Luke’s gym.
The game will also feature Legend skins and weapon skins inspired by Street Fighter 6: for example, Alter will get a Chun-Li skin, Mirage will get a Luke skin, and Wattson will get a Cammy skin. Another addition will be the Hadoken, a universal mythic cosmetic item for melee combat.
This isn’t Apex Legends’ first collaboration with other franchises. In January 2024, the game hosted a Final Fantasy VII Rebirth event, which added Buster’s sword, Materia, and themed skins. In March 2026, a crossover with Gundam took place: players were offered weapons and abilities inspired by the franchise, as well as Legend skins in the style of mobile suits.
