On October 15, FIFA and the Saudi Arabian Esports Federation announced the postponement of the 2026 FIFAe Finals, which were scheduled to take place in Jeddah from October 16 to 25.
The decision was made after assessing the situation in the region and its impact on the tournament’s logistics. The organizers thanked Saudi Arabia and the local esports federation for their support and assistance in preparing for the championship. A new date will be announced at a later time.
Last year, $250,000 in prize money was awarded at the FIFAe World Cup. The French national team emerged as the tournament champion, defeating the Saudi Arabian national team 4–2 in the grand final.
