TheChosenOne on the 7.41f update in Dota 2: “A good patch for the competitive scene”

Members of the HULIGANI Dota 2 roster shared their thoughts on Patch 7.41f. Comments from the players and coach were posted on the club’s Telegram channel.

ssnovv1: It’s a decent patch; they fixed the meta, and Pudge is OP.

Mirage: Bara is overpowered. That’s all I can say.

Corrupted: ChatGPT released a weak patch.

sayuw: THEY FINALLY KILLED THE TREE

RESPECT: They didn’t add anything particularly new to the heroes. I’m glad they nerfed Treant Protector and Bounty Hunter, though it’s strange they didn’t touch Winter Wyvern)

TheChosenOne: A solid patch for the competitive scene, where they went after the meta. Shadow Fiend and Treant Protector received significant nerfs and will drop out of the early game meta; while the other meta heroes received smaller nerfs, but this will open up new strategies for countering them, paired with picks of unpopular but clearly solid heroes for the current competitive meta, such as Ursa.

Paul “Speeed” Boccicchio previously commented on the patch. “I’d like to see more buffs. Maybe the developers are afraid to raise the overall power level of the heroes too much, and I’m missing something. Still, it feels like there are too many nerfs here and not enough buffs,” noted the GamerLegion support player.
