Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Test Server Update as of August 7, 2026: Balance adjustments for Lucas and Hayabusa

On August 7, MOONTON Games released an update for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang test server. In the new patch, the developers nerfed certain heroes, such as Lucas and Hayabusa, reverted some of the changes to Obsidian, and improved the effectiveness of Sana’s clones.
Hero Changes
The symbols (↑) (↓) (~) indicate a buff, nerf, and change, respectively.
Lucas (↓)
Lucas’s performance slightly exceeded our expectations, so we’ve decided to revert some of his buffs.
Stats (↓)
- Health Gain: 210 >> 202;
- Base Armor: 23 >> 21.
Ability 1 (↑)
Experience Optimization: We’ve expanded the fan-shaped area-of-effect indicator for Lucas’s first ability in human form when he has zero charges to better reflect its actual range.
Kalea (↑)
Based on our observations, recent improvements were insufficient to address Kalea’s performance issues. Therefore, we’ve increased the damage of her ultimate.
Ultimate (↑)
- Bonus Damage: 6% of maximum health >> 8% of maximum health.
Hayabusa (↓)
Hayabusa has performed better than expected following last week’s buffs, so we’ve slightly reduced the damage of his first ability. We want his gameplay to focus more on skill combos, with his ultimate serving as a follow-up. Since a single ultimate shouldn’t be enough to threaten heroes in the backline, we’ve reduced his bonus damage from attacks.
Ability 1 (↓)
- Damage: 220–320 (+75%–90% bonus physical attack) >> 220–300 (+75%–85% bonus physical attack).
Ultimate (↓)
- Attack Damage: 140 (+32% bonus physical attack) >> 130 (+30% bonus physical attack).
San (↑)
San’s nerf turned out to be more significant than expected. Previous changes heavily impacted his roles other than the roamer. To address this, we’ve increased his damage and improved his clone’s survivability without increasing his mobility. Since the clone now inherits 100% of San’s stats, the increased attack speed and physical attack will naturally enhance the HP regeneration provided by his passive ability. Therefore, we did not make any further changes to the HP regeneration provided by his passive skill.
Passive Skill (↑)
- Bonus damage to creeps: 50 >> 65.
Skills 1 and 2 (↑)
- Damage dealt by the clone: 40% >> 55%;
- Damage taken by the clone: 200% >> 170%.
Ultimate (↑)
- Damage dealt by the clone: 50%–60% >> 70%–80%.
Chichi (↑)
Slightly increased the hero’s damage against high-HP units in the early and mid-game, as well as the crab kill speed in the early game.
Skill 1 (↓)
- Damage as a percentage of the enemy’s maximum health: 3%–4.5% >> 3.5%–5%;
- Maximum damage to creeps: 75–350 >> 100–350.
Carrie (~)
Carrie’s combat capabilities during her ultimate have been improved, and her first ability has been adjusted to focus more on slowing enemies and forcing them to reposition in the late game.
Ability 1 (↑)
- Physical Attack Bonus (Base Damage): 90% >> 20%;
- Physical Attack Bonus (Ongoing Damage): 20% >> 10%.
Ultimate (↑)
- Base damage when passive skill triggers: 40 >> 50;
- Movement Speed: 20% >> 30%.
Masha (~)
We decided to help Masha survive in mid- and late-game battles. We adjusted her health growth and ultimate bonus so that players engage in team fights rather than focusing on duels and burst-damage compositions. We’ve also improved the efficiency of lane clearing with her first ability in the late game and increased the base damage of her passive ability.
Stats (~)
- Base Health: 1400 >> 1100;
- Health per level: 80 >> 120.
Passive Ability (~)
- Bonus Damage: (1 + 3% Bonus Physical Attack + 0.2 × Hero Level)% >> (3 + 2% Bonus Physical Attack + 0.2 × Hero Level)%.
Skill 1 (↑)
- New Effect: Deals 0%–50% more damage to minions (depending on skill level).
Ultimate (~)
- Bonus Damage: 140% bonus physical attack >> 50% bonus health.
Obsidian (↓)
Some changes introduced in the previous patch have been reverted
Stats (↓)
- Attack Speed Bonus: 2% >> 1.5%.
Ultimate (↓)
- Shield Strength: 250–550 (+35 per charge) >> 200 (+25 per charge).
Bruno (↑)
Increased hero damage in the early and mid-game.
Skill 1 (↑)
- Base damage: 75–150 >> 100–225.
Minsittar
The description of the first ability has been optimized.
Nana
Fixed a bug that caused Nana to occasionally deal extremely high damage with her second skill.
