Well, as usual, here’s a quick text overview of the patch.
Masha—I don’t know, maybe I missed something, but it looks like total crap.
Bruno—either *** [nothing] has changed, or he’s actually gotten worse.
Aulus—maybe he’ll get a little better, but honestly, I think he’s already pretty good. The Muntons just can’t quite push him over the edge to finally make him a meta pick.
Argus—I’m getting 300 critical damage with 3 slots—that’s kind of not normal. I don’t know, either they won’t be building him into standard crit setups anymore, or it’s total crap.
Aldos—the damage has gone down. Like, before it was 650 stacks + 3,500 damage ±, now it’s 1,000 stacks for 3,000 damage, though it seems easier to build up the stacks now. They messed something up with the shields and speed, but the first one still deals just as much damage as before. It’s unclear how to play against Hirar, Clouds, and Fanny. And at the start, he’s still just as easy to *** [humiliate]. This change is crap.
Lucas is a good buff overall.
As for the changes to classic heroes in normal mode—no comment.
Odette—her damage has dropped significantly, and the dash in her ultimate has been replaced with snail-like movement. Conclusion—crap.
San—crap. No joke, a major nerf to a hero who wasn’t very strong to begin with.
Marcel—thanks for the nerf, of course, but I’ll keep banning him just like I always have. He’s a nasty hero.
Kaleya — a weak hero, but the buff seems okay. She’ll be a little better, but I doubt she’ll be a strong pick in the current meta.
Kadita—nothing to report.
Hilos—now has less HP and more mana. When I asked the chat for their opinion, it was split 50-50, so you decide for yourselves if it’s a good buff or not.
Chichi—Kilet said it’s a strong buff, so let’s be happy about that.
Melissa—if she hasn’t died, she definitely feels weaker now. The meta is going to be all Harit, Brody, and Clint. I *** [hate] these ADC nerfs, honestly.
Mia—she’s more dead than alive.
Hanabi—an unpleasant but tolerable nerf, though let’s keep in mind she wasn’t the strongest hero to begin with.
Lee Sun-shin—seems dead. Just 2 seconds, but for Lee Sun, that’s critical; his whole mid-to-late game relied on burst damage.
Alpha—they wrote something about EXP. I think it’s all *** [crap], but it’ll be better in the jungle.
Kagura—the best change in this patch. I think she’ll be a meta pick this season.
Edith—nothing.
Karina — nothing.
Pakito—not sure, but he was so strong that *** [it doesn’t matter].
Kaya—good buff. She was already solid, so she’ll be a meta pick.
Economy — they nerfed jungle and lane farming. I have no idea how this will affect things, so yeah.
Earlier, Geltek Cyber Team analyst Denis “Selfdestruct” Merkulov analyzed the map and hero changes in the new Mobile Legends: Bang Bang update and speculated on which characters might enter the meta of the mobile MOBA or fall out of favor.
