The Immortal Construct in Genshin Impact—How to Find and Defeat It

The Immortal Construct is a new boss in the Snow region of Genshin Impact. This boss is designed around the Constellation mechanics, so it won’t be easy to defeat without the right team. In this guide, we’ll explain how to find and defeat the Immortal Construct, and we’ll also recommend the best teams for this boss.

The boss’s cave is located west of the Snowtown Train Station. Teleport to the train station and fly from the city to the cave.

Activate the teleport so you can easily return to the boss, and start the fight.

The Immortal Construct is named for a reason—as soon as it enters the Life Flare state, indicated by shields below its health bar, it regenerates its health. The most effective way to remove these shields is with Star Reactions—similar to the Radiant Gecko and Moon Crystal reactions.

The boss’s mechanics are such that it uses attacks on characters to regenerate health. Therefore, it’s advisable to include a shield-bearer in your party—such as Zhong Li, Diona, Nicole, and so on.

The boss also has melee attacks with its wings and claws. If you back away, it can close the distance with a sudden dash.

Since the boss’s mechanics are entirely based on Star Reactions, you shouldn’t include regular characters of the same elements in your team.

The boss also has 50% Pyro resistance. If you don’t have any characters with Star Reactions, you shouldn’t bring Mavika, Arlequino, or other Pyro damage dealers to fight this boss.
