New Heroes of the Storm Hero Announced: Xal’atat

During the BlizzCon 2026 opening ceremony, Blizzard unveiled a new hero for Heroes of the Storm: Ksal’Atat from the World of Warcraft universe.

Xal’Atat is the first hero announced for Heroes of the Storm in the past six years. Previously, in June 2022, Blizzard announced that it would be ending content support for the MOBA.

The character will officially become available in the game on September 28 and on the public test server on September 14. In addition, the developers announced that they will reveal another new hero in the future.
