OTGxhh became the champion of the 2026 Hearthstone World Championship
Chinese esports player OTGxhh was crowned champion of the 2026 Hearthstone World Championship, defeating Sun “XiaoT” Liwei in the final match.
OTGxhh finished the group stage and playoffs of the championship with just one loss in six matches. In the final of the 2026 Hearthstone World Championship, he faced his compatriot XiaoT, who had not lost a single series throughout the tournament up to that point.
The final score of the match was 3–1. OTGxhh lost the first game to his opponent playing a Priest, but then went on to win the next three—using the same class, as well as a Death Knight and a Druid.

- 2nd place — XiaoT ($60,000);
- 3rd–4th place — McBanterFace and Curfew ($40,000 each);
- 5th–8th place — WinBrownie, Kwanwoo, hyosung, and Mesmile ($30,000 each);
- 9th–12th place — mlYanming, maxiebon1234, Gaby59, and Che0nsu ($20,000 each);
- 13th–16th place — Soyorin, Fatty, Xiaobai, and SAVOR ($15,000 each).
The 2026 Hearthstone World Championship took place from September 8 to September 13 in Anaheim, California, USA. The event’s prize pool totaled $500,000. XiaoT received an invitation as world champion due to the need to replace one of the players who did not receive a visa.
