Overwatch will feature collaborations with the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Edgerunners 2 in 2027

Blizzard Entertainment and CD Projekt Red have announced Overwatch collaborations with the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and its sequel, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. Both crossovers are scheduled for 2027. The announcement took place at BlizzCon during the “30 Years of Battle.net” panel.

Artwork shown during the presentation featured David Martinez from *Cyberpunk: Edgerunners* and Talia from *Edgerunners 2*. However, it has not yet been announced which *Overwatch* heroes will receive themed skins or what other items will be included in the collaborations. Exact dates for the events have not been disclosed.

This isn’t Overwatch’s first collaboration with major franchises. The game’s first major crossover was with One-Punch Man in 2023. Since then, Blizzard has held joint events with Cowboy Bebop, Street Fighter 6, and Gundam Wing.
