Fortnite Tournaments in 2026: How to Participate and Can You Win Money?

Fortnite regularly hosts tournaments for players of all skill levels—from amateur cups to major competitions with cash prizes. To participate, you usually just need to enable two-factor authentication and reach the minimum account level, after which you can register directly in the game.

To play a Fortnite tournament, go to Battle Royale or Zero Altitude mode and open the “Competitions” tab in the main menu. There, you’ll see all available cups, their rules, start times, and participant requirements. Once the tournament starts, simply select the event you want to join and click “Join.”

The Fortnite tournament schedule is constantly updated. Epic Games hosts ranked cups, themed competitions, and qualifier tournaments almost every week. Most tournaments take place directly within the game, and virtually any player who meets the requirements for a specific event can participate. That’s why even a beginner can test their skills and, over time, make it to major prize-money tournaments.

Some Fortnite tournaments offer a cash prize pool. This primarily applies to the FNCS series and select official competitions organized by Epic Games. However, the developers also occasionally host smaller tournaments with cosmetic rewards, where you can earn exclusive skins, pickaxes, or emotes.
