The Best Mizuki 2026 Build in Genshin Impact — Stardust Scatter, Weapons, and Teams

Gleb Brekhov
Genshin Impact

With the release of Snowfall and Starfall reactions, Mizuki in Genshin Impact can become the main damage dealer in a party thanks to Starfall. After unlocking her additional talents, she gains a new source of damage based on her Elemental Mastery. In this guide, we’ll break down how to unlock Mizuki’s enhancements, which weapons and artifacts to choose, and who to pair her with in a team.

How to Unlock Star Shard for Mizuki

First, level up Mizuki to at least level 70 and unlock “The Witch’s Prophecy.” To do this, complete the “Random Revelations” quest, which becomes available after “Songs of Dragon Freedom.” This quest will introduce you to Barbelot’s divinations and reward you with the Witch’s Prophecy Box. Find it in the “Tools” section of your inventory and select Mizuki’s quest “Guidance Beyond Dreams.” Complete the dialogues and the combat trial to receive the heroine’s enhancements.

After that, add Odette or the Cryo Traveler to your party—a character who transforms Cryo Scatter into Star Scatter. Completing the quest once isn’t enough: you’ll need the right ally to trigger the new reaction. Apply Cryo to enemies, then use Mizuki’s Elemental Skill. Triggering Stellar Dispersion activates her “Radiance—Stellar Dispersion” effect.

Best Build for Mizuki—Weapons and Artifacts

For Star Scatter, Mizuki needs Elemental Mastery, Critical Chance, and Critical Damage. Unlike regular Scatter, this reaction can crit, so a build focused solely on Elemental Mastery should be reconsidered.

Best Artifacts:

  • 4x Gilded Dreams—in calculations for version 7.1, this set ranks first for Mizuki using Stellar Scatter.
  • 4x Crimson Proof
  • 2+2 in Elemental Mastery.

Choose between them based on their additional stats: a good set is usually more useful than a formally “better” one with poor stats. Until you have the full set, use a 2+2 combination for Elemental Mastery.

Stats:

  • Watch: MS;
  • Goblet: MS;
  • Crown: Crit Chance / Crit Damage;
  • Additional Stats: Crit Chance, Crit Damage, MS.

The best weapon is “Sunny Morning Dream,” Mizuki’s signature catalyst with a high amount of elemental mastery. But since it’s a rare item, you can also try:

  • “Vigil of the Star-Caller” and “Dreams of a Thousand Nights” — high MS;
  • “Sacrificial Jade,” “Frozen Heart of Winter,” “Wanderer’s Song,” “Ceremonial Memoirs”—buffs to MS or critical chance.

Ideally, aim for 500 MS, over 50% critical chance before the artifact set bonus, and over 120% damage before buffs.

Best Teams for Mizuki

Mizuki is a budget version of Spring, and her team composition reflects that. If you don’t have Odette, you can add a Cryo GG to the team.

  • Mizuki, Odette, Cryo Traveler, and Faruzan form a strong team core through Star Scatter. Odette and the Traveler provide Cryo status and trigger Star Reactions, while Faruzan reduces enemies’ Anemo resistance. Faruzan is especially useful at Constellation VI. If she’s not available or you need a more versatile group-gatherer, take Sucrose: she pulls enemies together and boosts the team’s elemental mastery.
  • Mizuki, Odette, Water Spirit, and Faruzan or Saccharose—this is the setup with a separate healer. Vodyanitsa handles healing, so Mizuki relies less on her own ultimate and can focus on dealing damage. Faruzan is useful for reducing Anemo resistance, while Sakharosa boosts elemental mastery and excels in battles against groups of enemies.
  • Mizuki, Cryo Traveler, Sucrose, and Diona—an F2P team without Odette. The Traveler unlocks Stellar Scatter, Sucrose boosts Elemental Mastery, and Diona provides a shield, healing, and MP at Constellation Level 6. This lineup lets you try out a new Mizuki build without having to obtain additional 5-star characters.
