Valorant Mobile: Release Date, System Requirements, and How to Download

Valorant Mobile is the mobile version of Riot Games’ shooter for Android and iOS devices. It’s a simplified version of the main game, adapted for touchscreen controls. Currently, it’s only available to players in China. In this article, we’ll tell you when Valorant Mobile will be released, where you can download the game, how much space it will take up, and which smartphones support it.

Valorant Mobile is a standalone mobile version of Valorant, developed specifically for Android and iPhone devices. Although it shares the same core concept as the PC version, Valorant Mobile isn’t just a standard port. Riot Games and Lightspeed Studios have reworked the game specifically for smartphones, adjusting the controls, interface, and match pace to ensure a comfortable touchscreen experience. At the same time, the core mechanics—Agents, abilities, round mechanics, and tactical firefights—remain the same as on PC.

One of the main features is the shorter match duration. If you’re familiar with League of Legends and Wild Rift, you know how the game is sped up: the map is smaller, experience is faster, abilities are unlocked earlier, and so on. As a result, a single game lasts about 15–20 minutes. 

Players will be able to fully customize the button layout, use the gyroscope for more precise aiming, and adjust control sensitivity, just like in PUBG Mobile. To make the game more touch-friendly, the developers have redesigned ability usage, added quick-buy buttons for weapons, and enlarged interface elements.

In addition, the mobile version includes several exclusive features. These include a built-in replay system, special training modes, and two maps designed exclusively for smartphones. However, there will be no cross-play with PC: mobile users will play only against each other to maintain a fair balance between the different control schemes.

Valorant Mobile has been available in China since August 2025, but an official global release date has not yet been announced. Riot Games has confirmed that the international launch will take place after the Chinese release, but there is no exact timeline for other regions yet. 

As of July 2026, the developers have not announced a release date for Europe, the CIS, or other countries, so any specific dates appearing online are merely rumors.

Valorant Mobile will be released on Android and iOS. The official system requirements for the global version have not yet been published; however, according to testing data, the game runs on most modern devices with 4 GB of RAM and approximately 4 GB of free storage space.

After the global release, Valorant Mobile will be available for download via Google Play and the App Store. Currently, the game is officially available only in China, so it cannot yet be downloaded from Russian or European app stores. Once international servers go live, Riot Games will also launch pre-registration for new regions.

Most likely, you won’t be able to play using Russian accounts. Make sure to change your region before the game’s release.

Riot Games has not yet disclosed the exact size of the global version. According to test builds, the installation will require about 4 GB of free space; however, after downloading resources, the game may take up more storage.

Valorant Mobile APK files are already available online, but most of them are for the Chinese version of the game or unofficial builds. Using such APKs carries the risk of installing modified files or malware. Be careful and do not download files from unverified sources.
