Valorant Teams in 2026: The Best Rosters, Top Clubs, and Esports Stars

The Valorant esports scene continues to grow and attract a massive fan base. Many players follow the professional scene to find out which Valorant teams are considered the best, which famous players are on which teams, and which clubs are dominating in 2026. In this article, we’ve compiled a list of the top Valorant teams, highlighted the most successful organizations, and explained why these particular rosters are at the top of the global rankings.
How Esports Works in Valorant
The professional Valorant scene is called the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT). It is an international tournament system organized entirely by Riot Games. The season is divided into several stages: regional leagues, international Masters tournaments, and the Champions World Championship.
Currently, professional Valorant is divided into four regions:
- Americas — North and South America;
- EMEA — Europe, the Middle East, and Africa;
- Pacific — Asia and Oceania;
- China — China.
Throughout the season, teams compete within their respective regions to earn the right to qualify for international tournaments. The top teams advance to the Masters, where the strongest teams from around the world compete. For strong performances, teams earn championship points and spots in the year’s main tournament.
The season’s main tournament is called Valorant Champions—the equivalent of a world championship in other esports disciplines. Typically, the 16 strongest teams on the planet compete in Champions.
Below the VCT are the Challengers and Ascension systems. Young teams and novice players can compete in regional leagues and then, through the Ascension tournament, earn a spot in the top division to play against the world’s best clubs.
Top teams by region: Americas, EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and China

Americas — G2 Esports
The Americas region is considered one of the strongest in the world, and in 2026, G2 Esports remains its leader. The team consistently advances to the playoffs of major tournaments and maintains a consistently high level of play. Other top teams in the region include Sentinels and MIBR.
EMEA — FNATIC
For several years now, the European EMEA region has been synonymous with FNATIC. The organization has won several international tournaments and is considered one of the most successful in Valorant history. The team’s main competitors include Team Heretics and Natus Vincere.
Pacific — Paper Rex
The Pacific region is known for its aggressive and spectacular style of play. Many consider Paper Rex to be the region’s top team, as it has been among the contenders for international titles for several years in a row. Gen.G Esports and DRX are also performing well.
China — EDward Gaming
The Chinese region has grown rapidly since the full launch of Valorant in the country. The undisputed leader of the region is EDward Gaming, which became the first Chinese team to win an international Valorant tournament and proved that China is capable of competing for the world championship title. Other strong teams in the region include Bilibili Gaming and Trace Esports.
